Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical

Cleanroom Zone has contracts with major Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology clients. We ensure all our operators are trained to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). We are highly flexible and are accommodating to the ever changing schedule that our customers are presented with. Clean downs in between manufacturing of different products is a common occurrence. Our staff are trained to clean from Grade D to Grade B areas as well as the more critical Grade A areas including Unidirectional Air Flow cabinets, Lyophilisers and Curtained zones. We are also familiar with entry and cleaning of Cytotoxic areas.

Semi-conductor manufacturing

The semi conductor manufacturing environment is one that Cleanroom Zone is familiar with. We regularly clean areas that have laser, radiation and electrical hazards. Through our extensive training program we ensure our operators are knowledgeable and confident in cleaning these areas. All our operators have an awareness of safety standards and safe working practices.

Laboratories

We also carry out cleaning of general laboratories, ranging from wash up areas to microbiologically controlled laboratories. Intensive deep cleans are not unusual for these type of areas and customers have always been highly satisfied with the results. The outer areas of cleanrooms are sometimes overlooked as not being part of the unit; however research shows that these areas are just as critical as the controlled environment itself. A clean outer area will lower contamination levels everywhere including the cleanroom. At Cleanroom Zone we see the cleanliness of the outer areas as important as the cleanroom areas.

Hospitals (NHS)

We have a close working relationship with National Health Service hospitals located in Scotland. Contracts are in place for routine cleaning and we are also responsible for emergency call outs, when required.

Dycem

Dycem flooring is present in almost all the facilities we clean, it is because of this that we have undergone approved training from Dycem for the correct procedure in the cleaning of their specialized flooring.A poor cleaning regime results in a low life of the floors and they normally have to be replaced quicker than expected. Our approved cleaning will extend the life of the flooring & enhance its performance which in turn will reduce levels of contamination. We carry a stock of specialized floor cleaning solution and equipment. We are also Dycem Certified and Approved cleaners.

Aerospace

The ever developing Aerospace industry uses cleanrooms to manufacture sensitive components for use on their aircrafts, spacecrafts and satellites.

Medical devices

Medical devices are another instance of cleanroom use. Artificial heart valves, hip implants, nasal sprays are just some of the products manufactured in cleanrooms that we are trained to clean.
